FULL 3 INCH DIAMTER DUAL TIP EXHAUST

This new MAXX Fab SRT-4 system is a full 3 inch diameter exhaust from down pipe to tips, and features a 10 inch long by 6 inch round muffler with perforated core.  It also features a unique "Y" design.  The passenger side tail pipe is "inserted" into the driver side tail pipe which splits the exhaust gases equally between the two tips, and also keeps the exhaust path as short as possible.  The muffler and unique "Y" help to eliminate the loudness/resonance issues common to other full 3 inch exhaust systems like the Modern Performance or B&B. 

Tubing is 304 stainless as is the muffler.  All load bearing joints fwd of the rear wheels use 3/8 inch thich 3 bolt flanges.  The joints aft of the rear wheels are slip joints secured with Accuseal clamps (same type used on the stock SRT-4 exhaust) which allow adjustment of the tail pipe section.

The turbo back version includes a downpipe which is avail with or without a Magnaflow Hi-Flow cat, and comes will all necessary hardware, gaskets and installation instructions.  Cat back systems are avail to fit the MAXX Fab down pipe.

DUAL TIP EXHAUST WITH MAGNAFLOW MUFFLER

 

 

This system is for those that want:

  1. performance of an upreaded exhaust
  2. to keep the look of the stock exhaust 
  3. a quiet exhaust with no resonance

This full exhaust is three inch, mandrel bent, 304 stainless tubing into a satin stainless Magnaflow muffler.  The tail pipes are 2.5 inch mandrel bent stainless.  Four inch slash cut, rolled edge stainless tips complete the look.

 

A unique feature of this exhaust are the adjustable tips.  The muffler and tail pipes are assembled with high quality stainless Accuseal clamps (the same clamps used on the stock exhaust), while all load bearing joints fwd of the muffler are three bolt flanged joints.  The clamps on the muffler/tail pipes allow the customer to adjust tips left/right and up/down in the exhaust cutouts for that perfect look, while the three bolt flanged joints in the load bearing areas prevent leakage and slipping in the high stress areas of the exhaust.  This design is a MAXX Fab exclusive. 

 

The turbo back version includes a downpipe which is avail with or without a Magnaflow Hi-Flow cat, and comes will all necessary hardware, gaskets and installation instructions.  Cat back systems are avail to fit the MAXX Fab down pipe.

NEW - JDM WITH POLISHED STAINLESS MUFFLER

 

Looking for that distinct JDM angle look?  This exhaust is for you.  System is full 3 inch mandrel bent .063" thick stainless tubing with a high quality polished stainless muffler with 3 inch perforated core (no cheap Pep Boy's or Ebay mufflers here).   This system is mellow and deep, but still aggressive sounding.

All load bearing joints fwd of the rear wheels use 3/8 thick 3 bolt flanges.  The joints aft of the rear wheels are slip joints secured with Accuseal clamps (same type used on the stock SRT-4 exhaust) which allow for adjustment of the muffler.

Single Tip Turbo Back with Magnaflow Muffler

 

These systems are some of the best flowing/sounding on the market. The Magnaflow muffler gives a deep/smooth sound with excellent flow, and almost completely eliminates the interior resonance inside the cabin of the car.  If you're looking for a quiet perfomance system, this one is for you.

 

These systems are made to support the 350+ hp aftermarket turbo kits avail for the SRT without sounding obnoxious.  The MAXX Fab shop car has run 12.2 sec at 122 mph in the quarter mile with this exhaust (approx 425 whp) so it will support big hp. 

 

Systems are made from mandrel bent 3 inch diameter .063 inch thick stainless steel, and features 3/8 inch thick laser cut 3 bolt flanges.

 

All single tip turbo back systems are avail with a hi-flow Magnaflow cat, and include two O2 sensor bungs and one O2 sensor bung plug in the down pipe.  This allows for the installation of an aftermarket wideband O2 sensor. 

 

All single tip systems are avail as cat backs to fit the MAXX Fab down pipe.

SRT-4 Side Exit Exhaust


Want an exhaust system that is free flowing, lightweight but sounds sounds smooth? Driven normally and equipped with optional resonator (recommended) and Magnaflow hi-flow cat, this system is about as loud as a Borla cat back exhaust, but with a smoother sound.  This system (equipped with cat and resonator) weighs approx 10 pounds lighter than the stock exhaust system. 

This side exit exhaust features .063" thick mandrel bent stainless tubing, 3 bolt flanged joints, and a 1.8 in tall by 5 in wide stainless oval tip for excellent ground clearance.  Tip comes polished.  System can be equipped with your choice of any MAXX Fab dp and/or stainless resonator that offers excellent sound supression and ground clearance. 

All turbo back side exit systems include two O2 sensor bungs and one O2 sensor bung plug in the down pipe.  This allows for the installation of an aftermarket wideband O2 sensor.  Side exit turbo back sysems are avail with hi-flow Magnaflow cats.

Check with you local state laws, as this exhaust my not be legal in some states.

Side Exit Cat Back System

The side exit cat back system is only avail for the MAXX Fab Flexible Fit downpipe.  This allows the customer to buy the Flexible Fit downpipe for the stock cat back now, then buy the MAXX Fab side exit cat back later as funds allow.

There is no side exit cat back application for the stock downpipe.
